Tec Story Page

This is a story about Kevin. He works in a web software development company. I consider him lucky because he gets to work on computers all day. He gets to check out sites, check out software, and he even designs some websites.

The reason I know so much about him is because he is my big brother. When he comes home at night, he recaps his whole day with us at the family table when we all sit down to eat supper.

He would talk about when he checks his email when he gets to work, that being he checks out so many sites, and he gets a lot of junk email. His email is set up to where if his email does not recognize the sender, it will go directly to his spam folder. That way he knows what is junk email and emails that should be answered. Kevin said one time he had over 100 emails in his spam folder, so he knew it was junk email.

He was telling us a story one time about a lady that came in and wanted to know about a certain kind of software. After the lady described what she wanted, Kevin knew exactly what she wanted. She wanted to download some pictures off of her camera, and her friends recommended this one program. I told him why didn’t you just tell her to search the web for a free program, but I could see he wanted to make a sale. The program she bought, she can download pictures and also music, and be safe without getting caught for downloading something she was not suppose to.

After supper, I decided I would check my computer to see if anyone left me a message. I have been dating this boy for about 4 months now and we talk through the computer every night. I guess that is what you would call dating on-line. I really didn’t see anything wrong with it, and all of my friends have been dating on-line for about as long as I have. I really never knew there was a site you could meet guys and girls on, until my friend suggested this one site. Now every day in school we always talk about what guy we were dating on-line this week. I will say though, I have been talking to mine for the last 4 months, and that is a good sign.

Well I had better get to bed, because I have school in the morning, and have to tell all of my friends what I did tonight. Don't tell Kevin, but I download pictures almost every night from a free site that I got when i was searching for a program. Sometimes being a teenager can be fun.
