Tec Story Page

Well, here I am at class again. I hope we do something exciting other than learning how to do a webdesign. I have read this chapter over and over and I still do not understand it.

I have learned you have to have web access before you can even do a webdesign, but that is about all I have learned so far. I know one day while I was in class I typed in www which means World Wide Web in the search engine and came up with a little bit of help.

During this class, it even took me awhile to figure out what they meant by typing the letters www. I was thinking worldwide wrestling or something like that. After looking through some chapters, I did learn it meant World Wide Web. Almost reminds me of a giant spider web.

I know today we are going to learn about a search engine. For my own knowledge, I would say a search engine is like a Google search, or yahoo search. Who knows, but I am sure I will find out in class.

I just might become the world’s best computer web designer there is after taking this class. If I really put my mind to it and listen in class, I know I can do great. Right now, I am just barely making it through, only because it started out so boring. Don’t get me wrong, I love learning about computers, but when we start talking about designing something, I can’t even draw a house.

Oh well, we are on the chapter of web access, so hope this is not as boring as the rest of the book has been. When you think about it, you have to have web access to even look up anything on line. If you don’t have that, then you just as well check out books atthe library and read them instead of doing your searching on line.

I guess that is the joy of owning your own computer and access to the world wide web also. I hope someday to own a laptop, so I can do things on the computer when I am away from home, also.
